hey,
I was looking into enduro bikes that can get me to the top of the mountain and back down well. I have heard that the Capra is one of the best climbing enduro bikes. I have also heard that the specialized enduro climbs well? Does anyone have any input on either of the bikes? If anyone knows Any other bikes that can climb/descend well I would really appreciate it!

By a wide margin, my two favorite climbing enduro bikes are the Yeti SB-6c and the Turner RFX-4.
I haven’t ridden the Capra, so I can’t compare to that one.

I’ve ridden a Capra. Nice bike and loaded for the cost. Again not unlike the Enduro you mentioned, it’s a killer descender and “okay” on the ascents. The YT bike I’d pick would be a Jeffsy 29er, maybe lengthening the front fork to 160mm. This would be a better all rounder that would still slay on the descents. Just be aware that you are on your own with internet bikes and/or you’ll being paying an lbs handsomely to fix that which you cannot.
