Trail Description
About this trail
The trails are interconnected loops. No way to getlost.Four trails come together just above the parking area. The main trail goes to the right into the woods. The trails are very technical with a lot of roots. There are lots of short steep uphills. You very seldom get a chance to rest. Delight trail runs on the bluff beside the creek and is similar to Tsali. There are some tight turns and a few dangerous drops , so be careful. The land is owned by the city of Florence so treat it nice. Don't litter!

Review: A lot of upgrades in the last year, a few trails have been added and a group of us are hoping to add several more in the coming year, trail map is being updated. Several obstacles off of main trail. Great section behind old ranger station called Ranger Loop that most people don't know about. Go to Facebook and find Wildwood Park Trails, Florence AL for recent updates and activities; open to public to join.

Review: Even though the system is small, there is a lot of variety. Fun for all skill levels. Trail handles water very good. When I rode it was raining, and had rained previous 3 days. Trail was still very firm, but the wet roots made things a little sketchy😀 Also a nice creek to rinse off in after the ride.

Review: I have been riding Wildwood on and off for the past 4-5 years. It's definitely one of those places that you have to be willing to work a little bit to get to some of the better sections of trail. What I mean by that is, as is with most places in Alabama, it's very hilly terrain; downhills lead to climbs and vice versa. Overall definitely a fun place to ride, tons of roots, natural hips and interconnecting trails that offer both challenges and fun.

Similar Trail: Hard to say... Like a not as dressed up Hurricane Creek

Review: i ride this trail about twice a week. its tough with very little breathing room between hills and technical stuff, but its a great trail for a quick workout because you can ride for an hour and be beaten up the whole time. plus its like five minutes from my house.

Review: I've raced this trail a couple of times and it kicked my ass both sessions. It is scary tight (almost too tight) in some sections.it is east coast technical (roots) Honestly I would not encourage anyone to travel very far to ride this trail. I just didn't ever find it to be that much fun. (sorry)";"10

Review: I live in flow-town myself. This is one of the funnest trails that i rode. The difference between this trail and other ones is the difficulty. Some places are hairy and tight but i luv it. Rock On.

Review: I've riddne these trails and found them very enjoyable. Lots of Southern technical/roots though. Some good man made jumps and plenty of tight stuff. There is a main trail which runs down a ridge of sorts which can be a hard pedalling fast blast. I realize this stuff isn't state of the art but having seen the area come from literally a foot path to a clandestine jeep path to its present state as a well done series of single track with no motorized vehicles allowed anymore. Maybe it ain't worth a trip across the country, stay home keep the trails from overcrowding with furriners and yankees. Peace, Stretch
