Review: I love these Central Otago back-country rides in tussock country where the views go on forever. Another good one is to get a ride to the very top of the Nevis Road and ride down the Carricktown Loop to Bannockburn and Cromwell.

Review: One of our favorites! Really fun trail, with beautiful views. Escape the crowds of Queenstown here! We did this on a still and sunny day - the best conditions (it would be a bit exposed in windy weather). The huts are awesome and would recommend staying in the Mud Hut! Great cross country trail. Follow the historic water races (build for gold mining) along the side of the valley. Top ride :)
