Trail Description
About this trail
Cut through "virgin forest", the park's hiking and biking trails offer a great combination of singletrack, cross-country and excellent downhill riding. These very scenic trails offer tranquil moments along the three reservoirs as well as spectacular views over the Delaware River and Port Jervis proper. By the time its all built, there may be over 50 miles of trails!

Review: Great bunch if trails. Be sure to bring flat repair as you always should have 1 -2 extra tubes and pump, tire levers and co2. Shale covers alot of trails. Reds are crazy rocky. Blues are more flowy. Favorite trail right now is cosmic Charley and the view from the flag pole is awsome! You can see the whole city. There is quite a bit of climbing involved. 300 meters approx up and down. DJ downs really is for experienced riders because it is quite rocky rooty and technical. It includes 3 awsome downhill sections that are wild fun. But the tech rocks were too much for me with only about 5 years experience on single track riding. Excellent views from the trail as it follows a creek with awsome waterfalls over small rocks

Review: Rode here as part of the Snowballs Chance Fatbike ride. There was a fair bit of snow on the ground in certain sections which made things a bit interesting but a welcome challenge. The trails have some nice flow with certain sections littered with rock gardens. There's a decent amount of elevation change. Had a blast on the downhills through the snow covered singletrack. Looking forward to coming back over the summer and spending riding more of the trails (the group I was in only did about 10m)

Review: Spent 2 hours there today and had a blast. Local rider guided me thru a flowey super scenic single track that had workable climbs with rewarding descents. Thorough ride. Not over technical but they say the tech stuff is there. We covered 11 miles of about 30. Good stuff!

Review: Best kept secret in the northeast! This is in my backyard so I'm up here regularly and run into more and more visitors who have discovered this park - and tell me "best mountain biking park in the NE" . First, kudos to the guys that constructed these trails... excellent job! Some are still a little rough, but the ones on the mountain overlooking the Delaware are fantastic. You'll love some of the ridge runs and views. There are 3 access points... well marked trails... intermediate riding. One of the best and best kept secrets in the northeast!

Review: Rode this track again last week...many new trails that are clearly marked. The community has done a great job of developing a mix of trails for all levels. The "Turn Table" trail is a must! Great views from the edge of the cliff!

Review: These trails are fairly new and need to be ridden. The group that has created and maintained these trails have done a great job. They have held a couple races already including the Erie 80 and a Snowball's Chance Fat bike race. The trails are mixed with some tough singletrack mixed in with carriage roads and double track. Totally worth a trip to Port Jervis to check them out. The Metro-North ends in Port Jervis and I believe they let you take your bike on the train.
