Mountain Biking Walnut

****   Add a review
#71 of 101 mountain bike trails in Indiana
#7,577 in the world

This is a fun, flowy, intermediate trail with a few short climbs, but nothing extensive. The trail is fairly smooth and buff with a few roots and rocks. Great for an advanced beginner or low intermediate rider. You can follow the trail CCW to the Oka Run Trail, which then returns to the Walnut Pond to form a loop.

Getting there
The most common way to access this trail is via the 1.8 mile Walnut Connector Trail. The Walnut Connector Trail starts from the main mountain biking parking area at Harmonie State Park. Take the Walnut Connector to its intersection with the Walnut and Oka Run Trails. This intersection features Walnut Pond in wooded area. Once at the intersection, take the trail to the right, which is the Walnut Trail. (The trail to the left is the Oka Run Trail).
