Mountain Biking Upper Wilson's Ridge aka 21 Jumps

This is predominately a descent with small, punchy rises. Fast, flowy berm turns, lots of little jumps, rocks, roots, some tight, techy tree sections and overall just a blast. Main section of trail comes out on Schoolhouse Ridge Rd. Continue left on Schoolhouse Ridge Rd. for about 100 feet and look for yellow blaze trail to the left to get back on Upper Wilson's Ridge trail for the final descent. Strap in and prepare for a jump fest as jump after jump rises to greet you and the trail gets ever steeper. Trail comes back to Schoolhouse Ridge Rd. at the intersection with Hwy. 90 (dirt road) just past the gate. Go right to access other trails or to go back to Mortimer, NC.

Accessed at the top of Edgemont Rd. Look for a dirt pull off with Forest Service gate (usually closed) and a field beyond. Trail starts to the right.
