Traveling west through Canon City on highway 50, just as you leave town and the highway banks right, turn left on Tunnel Drive and follow it a short distance to the trailhead with public restrooms at a locked gate.
Or simply start in town and follow the Arkansas Riverwalk Trail to the turn on Tunnel Drive.
