The Trash Pit is the "freeride" area of the La Tierra Trails System. It consist of several trails or lines of varying difficulty. There is a new "drop zone" area designed to let people incrementally advance their dropping prowess, beginning from a curb height drop, to about 4 ft. Many berms, jumps, and even some ladder drops. The are area is rider maintained.
