Trail Description
About this trail
Timber Mesa begins with a rocky climb out of the parking lot up to the mesa at which point you can go CW or CCW. Recommend taking a left at the junction and riding clockwise. The first few miles are filled with rock features and exposure as you traverse along the edge of the mesa. After about 3 miles you turn into the trees and the trails turns to fast and twisty flow through the pines.

Note: The Sawmill connector will take you over to the Panorma trail head. The Osprey connector is also a fun little descent from Timber Mesa back down to Porter Mtn. Rd.

Review: Recommend riding it clockwise. Trail markers are listed T1-T29. The first 8 were a lot of uphill and loose rock so it was hard to get a flow going, had to unclip and walk a few times. After T8 it starts to ease up and the trail winds through some pines so it's less rocky, after T-13 it's a lot of downhill with some fun corners.
