Mountain Biking The Trails at Jake's Rocks
#93 of 294 mountain bike trails in Pennsylvania
Kudos to all of the people who have contributed to this trail system, of which the first 10 miles is ready. (Sorry if you wanted to add the trail to the list after the grand opening.) If you take the right branch of the trail from the parking lot, you'll find a newly cut trail which is suitable for beginners or as a warm-up lap for experienced riders. The trail is approx. 3' wide and doesn't have any technical features. When you loop back around to the parking lot, if you take the left branch of the trail, you'll find some fast, flowy downhills, rock gardens, and plenty of air-time opportunities. The climbs back up are long and grueling (but climbable) so be prepared. The trail system has several nice man-made plank bridges and natural rock garden crossings. Worth the trip if you're not from the area.

Heading east from Kinzua Point Info Center on PA 59 turn right onto Longhouse Scenic Road, then right onto Forestry Road 492 heading toward Jake's Rocks. At the "T" intersection turn right, then after approx. a half-mile turn right again. The picnic area parking lot will be on your left. The trailhead is in the corner of the parking lot.
