Review: There are a lot of trail miles here - but a lot os not all that fun. Lots of wide trails, a lot of ROCKS. Some nice single track. This is the same as Thatcher Park - North. The views from the Hang Glider launch area are worth the trip though

Review: My first time here and I liked it. I stopped to get a glossy color map from the visitor center and they pointed me in the right direction to start. Easy to navigate the dedicated MB trails, loops or out and backs if you want. Hang glider cliff is a must see. If you go to the back of the burms/pump track and take the green Long path trail towards the left to the blue it got trashed wet sloppy and overgrown. I would suggest go right on LP once inside the woods behind the skills park. You will eventually pick up other loops. Roots and rocks yes but I've seen worse like at my hometown track which sucks in that regard. I did 16 miles in a few hours. The advertised 30 miles might be a stretch and include brown trails they don't want you riding on anyway. Decent markings. Pretty dry most places after heavy rain the night before. Good mix of wide gravel and rooty single.

Review: Unless I missed something there is no skills Park. It instead is a bunch of short singletrack trails littered with roots and potholes. No jumps, burms, tabletops or pump sections. The views are good and this place is ok if you are looking for cross country riding on access roads. There loops are not very long. The park itself is very nice though.

Review: New to the area and thatcher park has some great riding. The trails are well maintained and a skillpark that is great for developing skills. The jumps are fun. Ride is fast and twisty. Pretty smooth compared to alot of the northeast trails.

Review: I had a great time! The trail is much more rocky than the trails I normally ride in the southeast. There were more than enough trails to make things interesting. You ride along bluffs and go by a Hang Gliding cliff. I met a guy going out to do some upkeep of the hang glide cliff and was going to go watch him fly, but he said the conditions weren't right. You can ride up in the state park and see some of the interesting facts about the park. All in all, I would go back.

Review: Great landscape but not a great riding. Trails are short and crowded with people. Best ride is to use the roads, uphill from down the valley is a cardio challenge

Review: This park has a nice view of the country side and distant Albany. Warm-up by riding the east ridge of the park and work your west. Unless you know your way around and don't mind biking off park land then you'll have a tough time finding 30 miles of trails, 15 is more like it.

Review: Some awesome sections. A little disjointed at times with several short loops. Worth a trip just for the view.
