Trail Description
About this trail
The Ten Mile Creek trail is considered part of Black Hills Regional Park but IMO it is really a separate trail system especially since you cannot access the rest of the trails without riding several miles by road. Ten Mile Creek is about 6.25 miles in length and is typically ridden as an out and back. The trail system is fairly new (< 2 yrs old). Trails are fairly wide and there are several stream crossings. Excellent flow that really allows you to get up some speed with plenty of bumps to catch some air.

Review: Lovely, extremely well maintained trail, very well marked (thanks MORE!). I'm pretty new to MTB having started just a year ago and this trail provided excellent opportunities to practice using my gears and working on climbing as well as pump track skills. My more experienced riding partner wasn't bored at all and enjoyed the swoops, fast downhills, and water crossings. Really something of a hidden gem.

Review: I really enjoy riding this trail. It is relatively new (I believe MORE finished it within the last two years). It's got great flow and decent elevation change. Certain sections are set up like a pump track. The trail system favors riding at speed with lots of opportunities to catch some air on the numerous bumps. A couple of blind turns at the end of some of these shred sections so be forewarned. There are also a few (minor) stream crossings to add to the allure. A nice cardio workout as you climb out onto Clarksburg Rd which then becomes a short, but fun, downhill heading back. Kudos to MORE!
