Trail Description
About this trail
You will know you are on the right path when you start hitting jumps. You will come out on a gravel road. Take this road to the left. It's a pretty good climb from here, and you can cross 181 and enter Greentown/Upper Creek trail. This trail has some pretty big jumps right off the bat, and dead ends into a campground. From here, you have to cross the creek to your right. I have been told it loops back around.

I would take two cars, put one at the second trailhead on 181, and another at the top of Table Rock. That way, you don't have to turn a downhill run into an out-and-back, which is a real pain and what my friend and I did.

Definitely some of the sickest mountain biking I have ever done!

Review: Downhill Madness! Plenty of roots, large rocks, creek crossings, extremely steep rocky sections, drainage ditches, logs, obstacles, jumps, and even a few (avoidable) gap jumps. Classic Western NC mountain Biking! This is rough backcountry singletrack - not for beginners. Fairly treacherous when wet or leaf covered. There is a roughly 1.5 mile climb on a gravel road once you get through the first downhill section, but the rest of the trail is virtually all downhill - down down down- for 10 miles! For the full downhill, It's not 1 continuous trail, and there are lots of intersections with multiple routes, so make sure to go with someone who knows the way. Its a mix of: singletrack (60%), Fire road (30%) and gravel road (10%) The Full run we took was about 10 miles, but the trail crosses 3 spots on the road (181) where it could be boken up into smaller sections. Crazy Fun, but I need to go back in spring / summer when everything isn't completely buried in leaves. A shuttle from the bottom is HIGHLY recommended.

Review: Road Raspberry (real trail name) saturday Jan. 3 and it was amazing. Me and my friend both loved it even though it was so wet. Great downhill trail only has 3 short climbs not including the forest road out (if it is closed). Fast with rocky and rooty decents. Tight turns that make u go slow and then speed up when it drops off right after them. Fun little jumps over roots and things at the beginning. Awsome trail but kind of hard during the winter and fall with all the leaves on the ground.

Review: IF YOU HATE PEDALING, AND LIKE BONE JARING DOWN HILL. THIS IS HEAVEN. MY GOD, I WAS GOING DOWN SOOOOOOOO FAST. ON A HARD TAIL LOL. U WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH MOUNTAIN BIKING ALL OVER AGAIN. THERE ARE LOG JUMPS, THAT ARENT THAT BAD, I DID THEM ON MY HARD TAIL. BUT NO PEDLING AT ALL. I MEAN MY CHAIN POPPED OFF AND THE MOUNTAIN JUST PULLED ME DOWN. JUST MAKE DAMN SURE YOUR BREAKS WORK. IT'S A AWSOME DOWNHILL, SINGLE TRACK, AND TECHNICAL IN THE ASPECT OF JUMPING.
