Trail Description
About this trail
Starting in the center of town, the first hill is paved and pretty killer. Once on the trail, its a pretty easy ride. Good aerobic trail, scenic. Gravel base. Total ride is about 20 miles and you end up at the top of the mountain, perfect place for lunch and don't forget the camera. Trail for the most part is a steady climb, but very easy grade, you hardly notice you're climbing. After you leave the top, its downhill, steep, FAST! 18 miles up, 1 mile down. Sweet!

Review: A rails to trails base. There are spots where it is a little rougher. Mapping of trails are not that clear had to ask locals. Be aware there are bears we ran across one on the trail. The trail seemed to end into a culdesac. Took trail back to mount pisgah which was a foot path through the woods .We made it to the look out which was very cool. However getting back to town was either take trail back to the switch back or down a very technical descent with large loose rocky trail .

Review: Pretty easy ride, but there are some rocky spots. There's a pretty technical downhill spot due to being washed out. I've been riding this trail for a few years and it's always clean and I usually see no people on the first half of the ride, very few on the back half.
