I asked Swain Resort via Facebook if they still had trails. They said they no longer had them.

Fun place to ride when the ski lift is running. Park your vehicle and keep your cooler handy between runs then hop on the lift when ready. The downhiller guys will enjoy this on the right bike. I was new to some of the steep runs on my cross country 29r and it was a challenge but I eventually got comfortable. (braking on steep loose mud and rock in a few spots was sketchy) Hot hot hot brake discs and calipers! Nice day trip out there.

Very cool downhill trails and no climbing. This is a great place to work on controlling your bike during descents and high-speed maneuvers.
