This is a trail system!
There really is a wide variety of difficulty levels here, something for just about everyone, although I didn't even get to the trails I saw rated as black diamond. Very good signage and blazes that correspond to the park's map. Yay!
You can park for free if you go to one the two parking areas down the road a wee bit from the main park. It's $2 to enter that area, but it's a short ride on a paved path from the Mill Creek and Quarry Cave lots to several of the eastern trailheads.
Some of the terrain is shale which I found too scary for me in places because it shatters and slides and I'm just not used to that kind of surface.
Overall, very nice and worth the several hours of driving I did!
