Trail Description
About this trail
Good variety of everything in this park. The Lakeside trail is a double track that rides along Steele Creek Park Lake, but all throughout the park are 17 other singletrack trails that for the most part are pretty technical, intermediate to advanced rides. The Rock Cut, Sinks Way,Cross Ridge, Lake Ridge and High Ridge trails are among the most advanced.

Review: The park has a ride for everybody. Around the lake for the kids and fuddy duddys and powerline or switchbacks for the more adventurous of us.

Review: I was on the trails on July 13th 2017. Many of the trails leads to dead end!! One of the dead ends occurs on a steep downhill, making the return trip back to the top very difficult, no way of riding up you will have to push your bike up! Many of the down hills and up hills are eroded away. Also, many trees are down covering the entire path. The trails needs lots of work! Many of the downhills are very steep cover with many branches making it very difficult to see! If the trails were kept up this would be an awesome place to ride!!!! You are better off riding with a local to avoid getting lost! The bottom line is the trails needs lots of work!!

Review: This is a trail system! There really is a wide variety of difficulty levels here, something for just about everyone, although I didn't even get to the trails I saw rated as black diamond. Very good signage and blazes that correspond to the park's map. Yay! You can park for free if you go to one the two parking areas down the road a wee bit from the main park. It's $2 to enter that area, but it's a short ride on a paved path from the Mill Creek and Quarry Cave lots to several of the eastern trailheads. Some of the terrain is shale which I found too scary for me in places because it shatters and slides and I'm just not used to that kind of surface. Overall, very nice and worth the several hours of driving I did!

Review: Stay away if you don't have someone to ride with who knows it! Navigation is impossible via map and trail signage. Whoever marked the trails should be fired. Nothing matches the trail map and blazes just disappear where they are needed. Got lost for three hours and had to ride roads back. Forget this place Warriors Path is a real, well thought out ride.

Review: These trails could be great if they had nicks cut to flow the water off the trail instead of down it.Ruts cut cut deep by erosion messed up the great up and down hills. For the good parts, great signage and on top was great.some real good up and down hills not eroded would keep you on your toes.for some hard core rough riders this trail would be for you.

Similar Trail: Iron Mt. Damascas,VA.

Review: Small but fun, well marked, tough climbs and tech downhills. Worth a visit, bring your lungs and your full suspension rig.

Review: Great trails, have not ridden them all yet but slowly working my way through them. Extremely steep with some great technical point on all the trails. Highly recommend these trails to advanced riders.

Similar Trail: Darwin's revenge at warriors path is similar but not as steep.
