Follow the directions for the PMRP. One mile after turning on Bald Rock Fork Rd look for a sign and bridge on the right for "Sore Heel." Follow this trail to a parking area in the woods and then bear right and follow a trail up an old oil road past a few climbing areas. Watch for hiker/climbers.
