Review: Trail temporarily closed due to high river flooding and a couple of downed trees. Check with State Park before making the drive out.

Review: This is a great trail system for those who are new to riding trails or looking for less difficult trails. The Longleaf trail is the longest trail at just over 3 miles and has a ton of roots. The trails are also divided by colors. Longleaf is blue at approx 3.5 miles, Orange trail is 1.6 miles, Purple trail is 1.3 miles and connects to the blue trail. Yellow trail is .5 miles and Green trail (Swamp trail is closed as of today). All the trails combined along with the ride on the road to get to each one equals a little over 8 miles.

Review: Pretty straight forward trail. The main trail is 3.2 but there is an extension that adds 1.9 miles. Recommend starting at the trail head with the parking lot and just riding it in reverse when you get to the end by the park entrance. Good amount of roots, but don't let them slow you down and just rip it up!

Review: This was a fun trail to ride for south west Louisiana. Some very wet muddy sections to negotiate, according to the park ranger the trail was in great shape. Trail signage was good

Review: Good stuff, but I was hoping for a little more technicality. Definitely swampy in some parts, but makes it interesting. No big climbs but just enough to get your heart pumping. I hit this trail on a drive from Galveston to New Orleans so it broke up the drive nicely and gave my restless leg syndrome something to think about HAHA

Review: This is the best and probably only set of trails in Southern Louisiana. The Longleaf Pine trail is covered with roots. I enjoy it because of the nice little downhills and if you get going pretty fast you can jump the bridges and such.

Review: First trail I've ridden in Louisiana. Most impressed. Even with only 20 feet or so of elevation I found the Longleaf Pine trail, and its branch, to be quite fast. Each trail was worth riding.

Review: Of the three loops, Longleaf Pine Trail was by far the best. It was technical in most places due to the amount of roots crossing the trail. There isn't much elevation change, so climbs and downhills could be better. There are branches off the main trail that make it more fun, so check em out. The Old Stagecoach Trail would have been better if it were longer. It was pretty technical, but it was nearly flat. As far as the Riverwalk Trail, BORING. My seven year old could ride it on a unicycle.

Review: At first glance, this trail seemed very lame because of the geography (very flat). After severel more trips I have had a chance to explore more. There are alot of branches off of the main trail that may be hard to find, but once found make this trail a great ride. The only inprovement needed is better marking.
