Trail Description
About this trail
The West Coast Riders Club (WCRC) must be a group of gung-ho, gap loving riders because there are gap jumps all over the place on these trails! But if you don't like gaps, don't panic, there is usually an ride-around option.

There is a large map board at the base of the trails. It doesn't show the trail grades and nor do the trail signs when they occur. But if you're an intermediate rider you'll cope with all the trails if you go round the jumps. Expert riders with penchant for gaps will have a blast.

Visitors will have no trouble finding their way around. There is a forestry road going up the middle of the area and all the trails hang off it and come out at the bottom. My favourite trail was a newer one which I think was called "Heavy Metal". It had some great down-swooping berms, nice little table tops and dodgy corners.

Review: Some very "jumpy" trails here - generally lots of fun all round. There is nothing for beginners but intermediate to expert riders will find plenty to keep them smiling for at least half a day. After riding up the forestry road, there is a choice of several hand-made singletrack trails back to the bottom where the map board is located.

It was dry when I rode. I think the trails would still be good after rain. They are obviously popular but they are not gouged out or sculpted with braking bumps. Some are old-style cross-country trails but others have the fun stuff expected in a bike park nowadays - including gap jumps galore.
