Trail Description
About this trail
These trails are very twisty. There are a few technical spots. You can make a five mile loop without crossing any other trails. One or two stream crossings depending on the time of year. The trail is only 5 minutes from from the MSU campus. Maps are available for free from the bicycle shop. If you do get a map from the shop tell me about it. Contact:

Review: Thought it was gonna be a convenient place to ride and get better at riding, but as of now the trails are marked off and aren't open to ride. But, even if they were open to the public they have not been kept up in what looks like a couple years and it's pretty rough.

Review: I rode there for like 10 minutes (I was in a hurry) and I was amazed. The entrance was hard to find, but thanks to the trail being right on campus, I found a nice college kid who helped me out. Like I said, I only rode for 10 minutes, however, i noticed that the trail was very fun and we'll maintained. There were many fun obstacles such as the small pumping area, and many rock sections. I definitely recommend making the trip, and definitely can't wait to come back to see what more this place has to offer!!

Review: If you are in Starkville and don't want to drive, this is a decent spot for an hour long ride. The actual area of the trails is small, but they twist over and over and make decent use of the land. DO NOT ride here if it rained in the last few days, it becomes a mud pit. The trail builders tried, but there is no 10% rule usage and the puddling is pretty bad. Not worth a trip out of your way, but if you want to kill and hour, there is some twisty singletrack and up/down short mini-climbs to be had. If you are looking for a good ride nearby, check out the Noxubee refuge.

Review: This trail is not the greatest but considering the area, it will do. It is located just off of campus. Very pretty area, just not a whole lot of trails. Within the last few years, they have done some construction that wiped out a good deal of the trail. There is still some pretty cool scenery like an old rusted out car. Trail winds back and forth a lot but is pretty flat.

In the end, you have to remember you are in Starkville, MS and appreciate what you have. Not worth its own trip though.

Review: TRAIL UPDATE: These trails are still in good shape and give a good short loop ride, but TVA and the city of Starkville decided to put in a secondary High Voltage line to a substation nearby which cut about a third of the trails we had out. We have worked and reconnected a few of the trails and even were able to add a sweet berm to one of the re-connects. Its still a fun ride if your just looking for something to do

Review: This trail is a great workout trail. Plenty of hills and obstacles to ride on, need to be in decent shape starting out or you'll just wear yourself out. About a day or two right after a good rain isn't a good time to ride, its very muddy. Parts of the trail come out onto the North Farm of MSU and run alongside a set of train tracks on the lower end of the trail system.

Review: very nice trails, i ride these guys almost everyday after work. not terribley difficult, but there are some decent hills. there are a lot of trail loops and different options. there are some wooden features, me and some buddies are thinking of putting a few more in as well. there is a set of dirt jumps with about 7' of transition for all you dirt jumpers, but be gentle there's only a handful of guys that maintain that stuff.

Review: This was a good trail. 1st one under my belt. Kinda technical in places due to roots and some run down bridges but a good ride. I was very pleased and will definitely be going back often.

Review: Fun ride... Not super tough, but was suprisingly technical in spots. Several paths you can take but all lead to and from the same starting location. Check it out.. it was fun.
