#124 of 203 mountain bike trails in Tennessee
#6,864 in the world

Very rarely ridden but in great condition. Up and down around the back portion of Big Ridge. Lots of downed trees and other obstacles.

Getting there
Head north on Hixson Pike . Turn right on Gold Point Cir N like you are heading to Chester Frost State Park. Take another right on Ridge Bay Dr and follow it through the 4 way stop and down the hill to Gold Point Cir S. Take a right and an immediate left onto Nelson Spur. Follow Nelson Spur past all the houses and through a yellow gate. On the left there will be a small grassy area for parking next to street, big enough for a car or two. The trail head is on the right. It is very hard to see, so if you see more dirt roads turning off Nelson Spur turn around and head back towards the gate. The trail head is around 1/4 a mile from gate.
