Marston/Dickey and Patrick Ridge Trails share the same trailhead. Patrick Ridge is the fork to the left. This trail has some stellar views, but keep you focus on the narrow trail. Much of this trail is cut into very steep hillside and has some technical features (some hidden in underbrush) that can throw you if you don't pay attention. Riding surface varies from loose ashy soil from the 2015 burn, to rooty sections and rock gardens. There are a few small stream crossings and some extremely tight switchbacks to negotiate.

To shuttle to the top; from HWY 93, take Mount Marston Rd (NFS Rd 900) to the top. Follow the signs to Marston Lookout. The bottom end dumps out on Patrick Ridge Rd (NFS Rd 7006).
