From Up Nort, the northern portion is mostly old school singletrack. You'll run into a few roots and rocks along the way, but that portion is mostly a fast and straight run towards the Advanced Loop Connector. However, once you pass the connector and go onto the southern portion, the trail completely changes. It morphs into a new school flow trail gradually making its way up and down the surrounding hills via bermed turns, fun rollers, and tacky dirt. Overall, Outbound provides a great taste of some of Wisconsin's best singletrack from both schools of trail design.

From Nine Mile's parking lot, go right onto The Pines. Next, turn right onto Icky Thump as opposed to the East Loop Connector. Continue onto Up Nort, which will eventually run into the trail.
