Trail Description
About this trail
Contained in the park they have the Fire tower trail which will be a loop doping from near the fire tower at a high point near the entrance, looping
through lower country and back up. (currently not complete and riden as
two out and backs starting near the fire tower) Ridge line trail is a lollipop
with a section of technical rocks connected by climbing/fast flowwy down
hill, depending on the direction. Trails generally characterized by smother
flowy and fast at higher elevations and more tech and rock gardens lower.
They also have the Adventure Hiking Trail open for bikes. Said to be very rugged. 24 mile loop.

Review: The best trail system within an hour of Louisville. Some very technical rock sections and some fast flowy downhills. The adventure trail is my personal favorite loop in the area.

Review: O'Bannon is one of the best trail systems within an hour of Louisville. The trail has some awesome downhill sections, lots of roots and plenty of rocks. I rated the trail as intermediate, but there are a couple of rocky sections I would consider 'advanced.' (There is a gate fee for out of state visitors, but it is money well spent.)

Review: Breended Ridge Flow trail is worth the trip alone. O'bannon has some of the best technical single trail riding in the Midwest.

Review: Great singletrack trail. Fast and flowy with technical sections for skill building and fun. Only there for a short time due to weather, but I will come back for more. Very Fun Trail!

Review: Well worth the drive with clean facilities, good markings, maintained trails, parking...but, expensive so arrive early. Best trails near Louisville. I love Fire marker and BR flow trails. Potato run from Campsite A is a blast though short. Other trails thourghout the park. Group Camper is extremely difficult due to inclines, rock gardens and narrows. Park to the right of the entrance with Fire marker or go further into the park for centralized location.

Review: Great trails to choose from. Excellent maintenance. Go early and avoid the park fee (unless from IN). Fairly technical due to width, turns and roots. I'll be back often.

Review: Awesome new single track trails at O'Bannon. Everyone needs to get out and try out the new BR flow trail, it is 3 miles of awesomeness! The best way to ride the new trail is to get to it from the rocky ridge trail (there is a connector very visible). This is now my favorite trail in the greater Louisville area. The new flow trail is a great addition to a great network of trails. Comparable to Waverly Park.

Review: Fast, flowy, techy, rocky, rooty, FUN...need I say more. This little hidden gem is well worth the 45 min drive from downtown Louisville. The trail fairies have done an excellent job building and maintaining this park. It has an old school feel but still has plenty of flow to blaze the DH sections. You feel very isolated and outback. It is moderatly difficult, just hard enough to build skill and grow smiles. Enjoy!

Review: This growing trail system is a tech riders dream. Rocks and roots abound interrupted with fast flowy machine built sections. Trails on the east side of the main park road are hand built and much more technical. West side trails are built mosly by machine and have a much more flowy disposition. Not enough mileage? Try the 24 mile AHT (adventure hiking trail) for a real back country adventure.
