#170 of 306 mountain bike trails in Oregon
#8,273 in the world

This trail is a section of the larger 102 mile Old Santiam wagon trail. This trail was the primary means of transportation across the cascades in the 1800's. The trail is mainly single track with some double track. It is also multi use for hiking, equestrian, and biking.

This section starts with a moderate 1/8 mile climb then mellows before climbing some more. The GPS says there is ~500 ft elevation gain in 3.5 miles. This trail does have 4 creek crossings. 3 are rideable and one requires walking your bike. The trail is relatively maintained but did have 3 areas of down trees. Overall this trail has very few technical features but does provide excellent views of the Santiam river and is a great ride for the sweet home/lebanon area.
