The left side of Mount Pisgah needs its own assessment. The right side (https://www.singletracks.com/bike-trails/mount-pisgah-ski-area.html ) is mainly up and down. On the right side you see people pushing their bike up the service road for the adrenaline ride down
The left side is a true X-C mountain bike trail... more a beginner/medium rider trails. If you just rode the trails once you would have about two miles, but you can mix and match all the loops

From Saranac Lake, head towards Paul Smiths. Once you are past the hospital (AMC) it is about three quarters of a mile to Trudeau Road (turn right), you are about a mile from Mount Pisgah Road on the right and you go to the end to the ski center.
On the bike: go to the left side of the parking lot and past the barrier. It is a gravel road until you get past the concrete reservoir, a single track heads into the woods
