A short intermediate ride circumventing Moke Lake. Be prepared to have to lift your bike over some farm stiles. At the Y junction at the other end of the lake, stay left to continue with the loop trail. The Trail ends where it intersects with Moke Lake Road. Turn left here to go back to the camp ground or right to head back to Glenochery-Queenstown Road.
Don't confuse this little ride with the Four Lakes Loop which sometimes is also called the Moke Lake Loop. (!)
Review: This is an intermediate, 5 km ride, mostly on walking tracks but partly on gravel road. It's a beautiful lake, semi-remote in a deep valley surrounded by some farmland and rugged hills. There is a horse trekking business at the north end.
Most people ride this loop as part of the Four Lakes Loop or the Moonlight Circuit, both of which go past the lake.
