Trail Description
About this trail
A short 1 mile 4x4 loop with several short singletrack spurs and one fast singletrack bomb. Some views of the small lake. Relatively flat, although I recommend riding counter clockwise for the best off road downhill.

Review: Also all the ATV's have been blocked from acessing the trail by posts in the ground, so the ruts and mud pits that others speak of are gone, drainage is good. It's spring time and I only saw one puddle and it had rained just a few days before I went.
also hardly anyone there during the week which is nice.

Review: My four year old sons first mountain bike trail! He loved it. We went counter clockwise as others have suggested but there a couple downed trees off the north trailhead. One of pair of them doesn't doesn't have a way over, under or around.
Use one of the other 2 entrances for a mostly clear trail that used to be a road to a picnic area. At the highest point of trail is a nice overlook sorry to pull over. Only drawback was the curious cop, but he didn't even get out of his car so no prob.

Review: Not a very good trail for Mountain Biking. Very easy as it is just an old 4x4 trail that is now mostly overgrown. The only thing keeping it somewhat clear is all of the people that walk it to get to their fishing spots. If you're in the mood to just check out multiple trails then go ahead, otherwise don't waste your time.

Review: Poor condition. Short in length. Lots of large muddy holes that are mostly unavoidable.

Review: This was my first single track trail. Having been a non rider for 20+ years and starting out again as a newbie, this was a good workout for me and a nice introduction into trail riding. There were three mud holes to navigate (ATV's ridden here by some locals) it was pretty nice. Some rutting form rainwater washout here and there but not bad enough to slow you down. I rode on a hybrid bike with street tires. :)

If you start from the parking area, the trail is more uphill and a better workout traveling clockwise. Going counter clockwise, gives you a faster more downhill ride. Up and back is a nice short 2 mile workout.

I will be hitting this one on a regular basis to get my legs and stamina built up.
