Trail Description
About this trail
A nice little network of singletrack that can be very fast and very flowy at times. There are a few climbs and if you go on the backside (southside) of Gomez Peak you will encounter some fairly technical trail with plenty of rocks which would take some serious skill to ascend. The north end of trails that hooks up with the Continental divide trail are well groomed. Just watch out for hikers. Follow the powerline trail down from Little Walnut Rd. for a nice decent. The network of trails out here are not always "official". Get a map from a local bike shop (Twin Sisters Bicycles or Gila) before you ride. Trail intersections are well marked.

Review: This is some great singletrack! Well marked (well I did get lost somehow between points 7 and 8) but other than that There are maps at most intersections and the elevation change is minimum. If it wasn't so far away I would defiantly make it a regular stop. The trailhead has a pavilion and bathrooms. The town isn't that far off but I didn't have time to check it out.

Review: Flowy up and down singletrack. You can put in lots of miles out here. No built features of any kind to speak of...bummer! But, the rough & rocky downhill singletrack off of Gomez peak is a must do if you're riding in the area. Watch the cacti!
