Trail Description
About this trail
From the Trailhead ride clockwise. It is tight and twisty in some places and opens up into a large field that has been mowed recently. It then goes back into the woods for more tight turns. There are several options to bail out on this trail but come on....it's only 3.6 miles. You will cross the open field a total of three times. Not technical at all, just tight and twisty. No major hills at all. Good place to put in some laps for speed. Even at it's farthest you are only about a 2 minute walk to any roadway. Great after work ride if you are in the area. Awesome place to take a new rider to introduce them to mountain biking.

Review: This trail still exists, however it is no longer maintained by the local bike shop. Riding this in the summer is nearly impossible with the thick undergrowth, however it offers some pretty great riding in the fall/winter/spring seasons. Quick and flowy in some spots, any features that once existed are now dismantled or rotting.

Review: Trimmed back some branches and thorn bushes today. Trail is in great shape for fall ridding. Field needs to be mowed before spring. Great trail for beginners!

Review: The trail is covered in dry leaves in many sections which make it slippery on the surface. Some branches and overgrowth have been pushed aside as of today. The wooden bridge is going to need some repair -it was passable today.

Review: Nice Trail. Good for a quick ride or laps. definitely good for beginners, with some tight spots for fun. needs some traffic to knock down weeds, but don't worry about the thorn vines, those are all stuck to me. I cut tree off, so the whole thing is open at now.

Review: This trail continues to be a fun, fast trail with lots of opportunity for skill building. Unfortunately, it has had a large tree across a section of the trail for several months and some obstacles in the water crossings. If you take it slow, the singletrack is still great for riding.

Review: I rode this trail on 1/24/16 in the early morning before it thawed. It had a lot of solid, frozen ruts covered with some ice which made for a great ride. When it began to thaw I quit because it was going to get very muddy. There is a large log laying over the trail so look out, and it seems that a too-short platform was stuck out in the middle of a water crossing, so watch out for that. I went around it. This trail continues to be an outstanding, easily accessible trail for fun, training, skill building, and getting in the middle of nature. Go early on cold days in winter so you get ahead of the mud. Respect the trail.

Review: This was the first trail I rode on a mountain bike, and it was a great experience. It is a beginner trail with some intermediate spots and is a great place to experience small climbs, cutbacks, rocks, roots, and some very narrow tracks. I continue to enjoy it and its easy access. It is well-maintained!

Review: Had a great time on the trail. After recent rains, we ran into mud on the backside, about 1.5 miles or so in. That area seems to hold water. Beginners should enjoy this trail as mentioned before. My riding friend is a true beginner, and she enjoyed the experience. She encountered a few obstacles and a couple areas she chose to dismount through. All in all, this has something for a variety of skill levels. The section through the pines will challenge your ability to speed through tight twists and turns.

Review: I ride the Trail 5 times a week. It is a great trail for beginners who are looking for a good experience. Although It is twisty and snakes through trees it is a fast ride and easy to do due to the lack of major climbs.

Review: Great neighborhood trail. The terrain is flat but the tight turns make the ride interesting. I followed the blue ribbons and eventually came back to the start. Good place to introduce kids to mountain biking. Seems to be well maintained.
