Mountain Biking Leckhampton

***   Add a review
#38 of 98 mountain bike trails in England
#6,676 in the world

Local downhill riders have got some great trails set up on the escarpment of Leckhampton Hill. The trails are quite steep with some berms, some drops, some jumps and some swooping curves. There are no signs and no indication of how hard the trails are. The best stuff is hard to find so first time up you really need to go with a local.

Up on top of the scarp there is some quite nice cross country riding with expansive views over Cheltenham and surrounding countryside.

There is no easy way from the bottom to the top. The locals are tough - they do quite a lot of up hill walking!
