Trail Description
About this trail
This track follows an historic trail that was used by gold miners last century. It goes down the gorge across the lake from the Roxburgh Gorge Trail.

The trail starts out reasonably easy but is narrow and concave so you do have to stay alert. It becomes rockier as you continue on down the gorge. A few short pinches are unrideable. By Butchers Point it has become a technical ride suitable only for expert riders. You can turn back as soon as you get out of your comfort zone or carry on walking to have a look at the historic huts at Butchers Point.

Review: This is a short ride on a walking track with historic and scenic interest.

My GPS trace starts at the end of Graveyard Gully Road where the track starts but the ride out from downtown is pleasant and much shorter than the drive around Little Valley Road.
