Trail Description
About this trail
This is a very tight, twisting and highly aerobic trail. Many log crossings, rooty climbs and several added rock drops, bridges, and drop ins. It is brand new and still soft due to not ridden in yet. This trail also drains very rapidly so if it rains in the morning, you can ride in the afternoon.

Review: Poor excuse for a MTB trail and not worth the time or effort to make a trip out there. Rooty from washout to the lake, no flow and poor maintenance. Skip this one.

Review: not much has changed since the last review, it is a decently kept trail, it certainly is tight in spots, not much flow due to hairpin turns and a few big roots and such. Fairly easy to follow, just a so-so trail, not worth a long trip (I drove from High Point just to try something different). It doesn't look ridden much, mostly walked, so not as smooth as other trails (even on a full squishy it would not be as smooth or flowing). Bottom line: May not be a bad after work ride if you live/work withing 10-15 minutes, otherwise, IMO not worth the trip.

Review: if you're looking at the lake, i only rode on the trails on the right side of the road. and yes they are good little climbs and log hops, but i wouldn't make a special trip all the way out there justfor these trails. it was a lot further from burlington than i thought, and i'd frankly justrather ride chapel hill or crabtree. don't forget to sign the liability waiver....nice old man inside. -my +'s are that it was all elevation change, there was never a spot for cruising. really tight and a good workout.
