Q: is there downhill and stuff? -Twinsd00

A: Yes. It is a hilly area. There are plenty of reasonable downhill runs. Not hardcore but great fun. Look at North Shore, Owens Rest, Colesy's Downhill and some of the Goat Track. Other trails have good downhill sections too.

Review: Plenty of trails here. Some are easy to find, others are a bit hidden. Lots of fun. These mtb trails should really be promoted a lot more by the Orange council and they are a real hidden gem. The North Shore trail is a great fast downhill run but still easy enough for less experienced riders going slower. it has a bit of everything, drop-offs, rock garden, rooty section, and more. flows well. Walk In The Park, Bogan's Run and Berm me up Scotty are good for beginners but are still technical enough for the more experienced riders. TTT is very popular as is The Goat Track. Frozen Dead Guy and El Gastro are blue tracks and well worth doing. Dually Andrews is a great track too. It runs into the Gymp and Hot for Teacher. There are lots of other popular tracks too such as Damn it Janet, The Race Track, Owens Rest and The Brown Hornet etc. .

Review: My favourite trail in NSW. I rode it again yesterday after several years gap. It has only gotten better. The main trail that you attack has beautiful berms that challenge you to go faster and faster, with A/B lines all over the place. There are also "goat track" sections that are not is carefully bermed etc and these are mostly lung busting hills. It used to be hard to find your way around, but now there are clear maps at the car park and clear arrows indicating the trails. There are standard loops of 5-8 kms which have all the climbs, berms, jumps, obstacles. And there are also big long hard loops for those that like a long hard ride. There are other good trails around the state, and I haven't ridden them all. But this is the best in my opinion.

Review: Great bunch of forest runs - heaps of varying technical tracks - the climb is via fire trail - well worth the track back to the carpark. not very well signposted trails - take a map.
