Trail Description
About this trail
Home to Cowbody and Indian folklore this 24.5 mile trail system has a similarly western feel to it. Passing through sandstone bluffs, canyon ridge lines, and numerous water crossing the trails have a variety of terrain and difficulty levels. There are several areas of sand that are tough to ride, but patience and a little stamina will get you through K-Lake\'s extensive multiuse trail system.

Review: It was 22 degrees when I started on my journey. My phone got really cold from taking pictures. Then the battery went dead. This trail has some spectacular scenery and rugged landscape. The trail in the beginning was very sandy and the trail was cut knee deep in places. It was hard to keep from getting peddle strike and digging into the sand. There were signs of horses on the trail but nothing that would disrupt your ride. I didn't have enough time on the trail to give this a fare review but I think once you get past the canyons and up into the prairie the trail would get better. I will have to designate a hole day to properly mapping and reviewing this trail in the future. Just breathtaking at first light.

Review: This should not even be listed as a biking trail.. It is obvious the management prefers horse and rider over any other type of trail user. Bike trails, what a joke!! The trails should not have any type of rating except poor!!! Don't waste your time and fuel coming here to bike!!!

Review: Unfortunately this is a multi use trail. Super sandy and deep ruts created by the horses. Great for horses, hiking, trail running ...
