This trail system is tough having many, many short, rocky climbs and switchbacks interspersed with fast descents. All of the trails share these characteristics with the west black trails having moments of downhill flow. There's 1400' of elevation to be gained in 10 miles. This system is great for training or for a workout. These trails are certainly not for beginners as the green trails are very limited and are also both hilly and rocky.
