Review: Well, this is my second attempt to map out this trail. When I got started the trail was kind of a road that led out to the prairie grass. I don't know what to classify this trail as. Its a mowed path close to eight foot wide. This part of the trail is well maintained. Lots of short cuts between the switchbacks. when I got down to the pond I was on another road. This took me to the blacktop at 16th St. where I had to cross. This put me on another road that led me to a double gate. Here you make a left into the brush on another mowed path. Watch out for the stobs. The fallen limbs were a bit slick with the light snow and a bit hard to make my way. Not the best maintenance here. After crossing the ditch the trail got better and led me to another road. Follow this to the blacktop and cross over again. You stay in the mowed path and things jus kind of repeat themselves. I got to the point where I would be going into thick timber. Its deer season here so I headed back. Don't figure I missed anything worth seeing. Save yourself the trouble, your not missing anything either.
