Trail Description
About this trail
Old fire roads that have degraded to singletrack. Difficult climbing due to the 9000' altitude. There are 2-3 hidden singletracks in the loop with a sweet view of the Sulfur Springs Valley below. Several trails but all loop around to the start.

Review: Great trail with a ton of potential. The area was hit hard by the Frye Fire in 2017. This trail follows old logging roads, these roads and now being overgrown with young aspen trees. Would be a great candidate for a full rebuild. After the first mile the trail is too choked out to continue on.

Review: Get ready to suck wind. The first couple miles are almost all climb with a rest stop at a hidden viewpoint off a double track to the left. Mostly shady aspen/spruce/fir forest. If temps reach 80 it's 110 in Gila Bend...maybe 115.
Many bears on this mountain.

Similar Trail: Cunningham Loop, nearby. Webb Peak-Ash Creek loop.
