*****   Add a review
#16 of 219 mountain bike trails in Alberta
#2,891 in the world

Goat Creek Trail follows Goat Creek (go figure) and then Spray River into Banff. This is a fairly easy ride.
Once arriving in Banff at the Banff Springs Hotel, follow the road leading past Bow Falls to the Banff Springs
Golf Course. Ride past the bridge for 2.9 km and take the fork right for another 1.4 km to the Rundle
Riverside trailhead and follow back to Canmore. this trail is significantly more challenging as it follows the
Bow River.

Rider questions

Q: Are there any technical areas on this trail? I'm from Saskatchewan and have only ever mountain bikes in the valleys close to home. I want to start getting into the mountains but I'm not sure where to start
