I've been to this trail once and it definitely has some serious climbs compared to the rest of the island. The best part of this trail is the orange section by far, very fast and flowy but other than that it was a decent trail, not very technical. Like others have said the trail definitely has a lot of potential. Reminds me of Bethpage Park in that it crosses over quite frequently and stays within a smaller area. Also close to a public swimming pool and baseball field and of course Motor Parkway, always close to civilization.

CLIMB has taken time to blaze the trails again and it's become someone fun. Not like GR but still fun.

Climb has recently been here to improve the trails. They seem to be fast and fun but they are not marked very well. The new blazes are even confusing. There is no doubt these trails have improved but they need to be ridden by more riders. Overall the trail seems to short and not worth the ride as there are much better options nearby.

Has plenty of potential to be good. Part of it starts off on the Greenbelt trail on the east side of Old Nicoll's off exit 58 of the LIE. You could park at BJ's and head up the road. The elevation is decent for a workout and I've only done about 4-5 miles total but there's parts of where it extends into Connequot from maps of riders on Garmin that have been posted. They get 13 miles or so out of it. The trail is not marked and it hasn't been maintained in years. I hear recent rumor that CLIMB is going in to mark it and clean it up. I will post back when that happens. The elevation is pretty good and there's potential for some really good tough climbs for the cardio warriors.
P.S The Hooters that use to be there is now gone :(

It is somewhat hard to follow. Easy to get lost and not well maintained. That being said, there is a lot of potential for a great trail here. It just needs to be frequented by more riders. Some tough short climbs and sand pits. Worth checking out for a short ride on the island.
