Trail Description
About this trail
These Multi-Use Trails are also open to Horseback riders and walkers. Easy, wide, double-track trails through floodplains, sinkholes, and rivers. Elevation changes are relatively minor with short climbs never more than a few feet. Three trails: Fence Line (yellow) is 3 miles; Sinkhole (red) is 1 mile; River Trail (blue) 2.5 miles. Access is best at the parking area by the restrooms/showers at the horse campground. Recommended for beginners who want to build confidence and seasoned riders who just want to ride something different. Lots of lines and tracks beginners can choose to improve their riding levels, like crossing roots, rocks, ruts, logs, etc. A trail map is available at the trailhead, as well as the Ranger Station (best idea is to ask for one when you pay). Volunteers and staff maintain the trails. The park is open from 8:00 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year. Admission Fee: $5.00 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle. $4.00 Single Occupant Vehicle. $2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.

Review: Pretty scenery.... but that's about it... rooty and wet for over a third of the trail. Mosquitoes were horrific. BUG SPRAY is a must. But all in all it was just about what I expected. If your in the area you should give it a try.

Review: Nice trail well marked has a little bit for every body and bring some bug spray because you're going to need it in. Saw a few gators in the swampy areas and along some of the river banks on the following trees nice right great scenery

Review: Even as a novice, I was hoping for a little more. It was however a multi-use trail and used often by horse riders. Several large trees across trail. So there was some stopping and carrying bike over trail. Not always optional to go around and too tall to jump. Two of the three trails run by a river, so it is a bit wet in places and lots of mosquitoes not to mention huge spiders and webs across the trail.
