Mountain Biking Emory Recycling Center

#209 of 406 mountain bike trails in Georgia
#5,776 in the world

The trail is a very technical, but fun loop of switchbacks. It's like riding a
knotted rope. Very fun to ride with others, because you will pass by them on
the switchbacks. It's not a long trail, but an excellent addition when you are
riding Peavine Creek. From there you can also exit the trail near the railroad
tracks and ride on an old road/path that has some steep descents and
ascents.

Getting there
From Peavine Creek Mountain Bike Trail, cross Peavine Creek on Old Briarcliff
Rd, and follow paved bike path down into Emory Intramural Fields (Candler
Field). Continue on path until you reach parking lot, pass the recycling
center on the left. The trail is accessible by entering the woods to the left,
alongside the recycling center fence (If facing the recycling center, it is the
fence on the right side). The entrance is well hidden, and you will probably
have to walk your bike about 30ft from the road to get to the trail.
There is also parking at Candler Field, which is where Peavine Creak Dr
dead ends.
