Trail Description
About this trail
Trail offers a nice long loop with varying difficulties. Mostly forest floor with some outcroppings and bridges depending on which route is taken. Very well maintained and stays pretty dry. Hikers with pets are often on the trails as well so keep a lookout when coming down a fast downhill section.

Q: how and does this connect to clifford park in biddeford? -Guest

A: I found a connection that crosses West Street and through St. Josephs Cemetery to the back. Therefore, there is a connection but it is not well marked. One needs to know the area well or use a GPS.

Review: Nice day at Edwin Smith Preserve! Nice trails, well identified. Thanks to Velozophie in Gatineau canada for letting me ride a Norco Sight for the week. Trails: technical parts for intermediates but mostly very good single tracks

Review: This was my first real trail ride and unfortunately it was quite wet when I went there. I will say though that it was still quite fun even though I got pretty muddy. I tried the Bobcat Ridge trail, which was probably beyond my skill level, but I still enjoyed it. It was challenging for me and one that I want to come back to with better skills. Lots of cool technical challenges both climbing and headed back down...crashed once, had to get off the bike a couple of other times. My goal is to make it all the way from one end to the other without stopping.

Review: Ride these trails every Wednesday night. Favorite trail is Steele to Bobcat to Trolley to Steele to Fox Den(great finish to Bobcats) Steele is the warm up. Bobcat is tricky. Fox Den is fun to just cut loose. Thank you to the people who have been working on the trails. Working with a few new riders and the work is making easier for them.

Review: Sweet ride. Fast double track out to more technical single track. Some rolling sections and some short technical climbs. Lots of fun for an hour-hour and a half ride.
