The trail is not technical (10 feet wide graded), and has quite a few joggers/dog walkers/etc when I've been on it. There is a lake to ride around. Couple this ride with the White Rocks trail (parking lot just east on Valmont, on the north side) and you'll get a decent 12 mile ride. This trail is a good warm up/down for the White Rocks Trail if you use the south lot (off of Arapahoe).

From 95th Street (Hover in Longmont), go south to Valmont Road. Turn west on Valmont, and less than 1 mile there will be a parking lot on the south side of Valmont. Or, go south further to Arapahoe, Turn west on Arapahoe and go about 2 miles to a dirt road with a sign for Teller Farms on the north side. Turn north and the parking lot just up the road.
