Trail Description
About this trail
In February 2002 Atlantic County Trail Volunteers got the final approval to build single track in the North End of Estell Manor Park. ATLANTIC COUNTY TRAIL VOLUNTEERS have built 4 miles of continues single track. We will have 8 miles of single track when we complete the trail (hopfully sometime in the Spring of 2003). The Duck Farm Trail is in the North End of the Park. The trail system isn't marked the best bet to finding the trail is, vist the Parks Nature Center. The park ranger or naturalist will be able to guide you. Remember, this trail was designed and built by Mountain Bikers...although it's very flat in South Jersey..we've made it as challenging as we could. Also remember....MTBers have the right of way! be polite and say hello to all trail users (if you see horses on the trail, please report it to the park...they aren't allowed on the trail!) The Duck Farm Trail is the only legal single track in Atlantic County, NJ. So take care of it.....WE DON'T WANT TO LOSE IT! HAVE FUN!!!!!!If you want to become a member of ACTV and help build the trail we can be contacted at our web page is

Review: Cool place to ride, get map at park headquarters. A lot of fallen trees have been trimmed up since the last time I was here a couple years ago. A couple of small hills, log overs, small wooden bridges. My 11yo enjoys it also. With out map you might miss out on half the track... trails looked good and maintained.

Review: Fun ride. quite easy to get lost as trail isn't marked very well. Other riders were nice and helped out. Plan on going again with a few people.

Review: Awesome local trail for me, I was able to do this trail in my hybrid it was a lot of fun, the entrance to this trail is next to estell manor park, the trails are not at Estelle manor park, look for dirt road and small sign down the stress of the Estelle manor park entrance, the entrance to the mountain bike trails can be found to left as soon as you enter the dirt road, the trails are very nice single track, some small climbs

Review: Great in winter , horrible in summer. A South Jersey spot that I just rode recently and had a good time. Single track that was mostly hard packed with couple log overs. I was here in late summer for first ride and could not take how overgrown it was and then got home to find Chiggers had destroyed me. I almost wrote this place off.Glad I tried to ride in Feb. , much better, So my suggestion is go until mid spring then wait until Late Fall.Again, When I say overgrown I mean I was bushwhacking the whole time during a September ride. No good.

Review: Very nice single track. A little overgrown but has very nice flow!! Mostly flat. Good for learning tight s turns and small log obstacles. If ridin fast can be quite amusing!!! If I was in the area again wouldn't hesitate to stop and ride at all!!! Would love to see a xc times race done here. I'm in!!

Review: This place was nice. It was certainly overgrown. But there were a fair few obstacles, log-overs, a-frames, and bridges. Decent ride....needs some maintaining, for sure.

Review: Great beginner trail. Lots of twists, turns, with small ups and downs. I logged about 3-4 miles here until I had a shifter break. I know you can get at least 5-6 miles of this system. Since the Hurricane, the available map at the office seems outdated. I had trouble trying to follow it. However a few times around the trails and it's easy to navigate. Lots of log-overs, a few too many for my taste, but the new trails after the storm incorporate the debris well into the flow. Great ride for people wanting more than just a dirt/gravel trail to try MTBing. I believe these trails are now sponsored by NJORBA, so that's also a plus.
