Review: Excellent condition despite pouring rain earlier today. Very wide trail, not single track. Well marked. Went about 20 miles total in 1:44. Note, in the 10 mile stretch Beck Lake to about Half Day Rd, saw a single water pump; bring your own.

Review: In town for a meeting and need a trail to ride this will work. It's nothing super exciting but it's better than sitting in a motel room. Only found a couple of good spots the rest was smooth and more of a foot path, but I was short on time. The single tracks are well maintained and packed hard. Weird you're in the city and can hear the traffic but feel like you're deep in a forest. Nice place for an easy ride

Review: Miles of trail. The best singletrack I rode was badly in need of some grooming. Had a fun day there

Review: Love these trails, Grew up riding these tree covered trails. Grogeous views surround these trails sending sunbeams thru the tree canopy. Can get a bit buddy south of Lawrence ave. but, it can only help you on your journey to more advanced trails!

Review: Was out on this trail in 25 degree weather the weekend of March 12th 2017. Still in great condition and easy to navigate. I access the trails at Algonquin Rd. in Des Plaines because I can ride there from home. If traveling by car, there is lots of parking in the forest preserve spaces. Many side trails for riding that loop back to the main trail. Great for riders of all levels of experience.

Review: I have been riding on this trail since 2014 and its been really fun all year round. I rode this trail when it was icy, wet, and dry and this trail is the worst when it is wet. But most the time this trail is smooth and easy. There are a couple off-trails here and there that you can go on for some fun.

Review: Was a great fall ride, was sad to have missed the color change. Some great stretches right along the water. Path in great shape, and easy access with free parking lot.

Review: This is a great trail for long rides to work on endurance. No obstacles or mountain biking "goodies" on the flat, wide, multi-use trail. Very easy to ride 30 miles in a couple of hours. I am surprised a local mountain biking club hasn't volunteered to add obstacles off the main trail since there is tons of potential in the wooded areas.

Review: The trail is a multi-purpose gravel double track. It is good for exercising, but isn't exiting or challenging.

The singletracks are good intermediate trails with lots of logs and log roll-overs but the trail is overgrown and a few of the log roll overs are poorly built.
