Review: Crestline Trail is a really tough ride and I use the term ride loosely. This is a motorcycle trail that is torn all up and has really steep climbs that are super loose. I would seriously question anyone who says they have ridden the whole trail. That is ridden, not walking sections. I don't believe it can be done. That being said... if you don't mind hiking a bunch this trail offers some amazing scenery! Several parts of the trail are really fun. Wild life is abundant and you are not likely to see many people. We passed a few hunters on dirt bikes, 2 hikers and not a single other mountain bike. We climbed up above 8000 feet and over some solid granite peaks. The trail gets hard to follow but thankfully there are markings painted on the rock (much like Moab) and cairns guiding your way.

Plan longer than you think you are going to need. Pack lots of spares, food and water. On our ride we finished in the dark. Thankfully we were prepaired with headlamps and food. This trail is an experience you are not likely to forget.

Review: Hard- long ride. Get ready to hike your bike. Major parts of the trail not cleared. Lots of down trees. Otherwise amazing full day ride. Shuttle recommended. Start at north end
