Trail Description
About this trail
The main trial is a multi-use trail that starts near a small lake, but quickly takes you into pine flatwoods. The trail is well marked and easy to follow if you stay on the main loop. The trail is mainly sand, which has been dug up in places by wild pigs, making some stretches very rough and very soft.

Review: Not really a mtb trail. All of what I rode was a grass road, till I got bored and left. Not worth the park enterance fee, go to carter rd. or even better go to alafia

Review: This is not a park for mountain bikers! I rode 10 out of the 12 miles around the main loop & I don't intend on returning. This is a wide horse trail with mostly soft bottom. The first mile or so was hard bottom pine/oak forest, then several wet swamp mud areas that a bike could barely get through even though the weather had been dry (due to small creeks passing through the area). After that is miles of soft bottom pasture that was miserable to ride on. The north side of the trail is completely flat pine forest that is decent to ride but there are no hard bottom single tracks at this park. Do not recommend this for mountain bikers of any level. There is a lot of nature to look at though if you are hiking or on horseback- saw a pack of hogs, a deer, a snake, bobcat tracks and tons of birds & butterflies.
