Trail Description
About this trail
This new trail system is still being developed. Currently, about 20 miles of singletrack and jeep trails featuring challenging climbs, rock gardens and awesome views. Watch for new trails to be added fall '09. It's a little out of the way, but worth the trip!

Review: Almost the entire trail was dry; just a couple low spots with standing water & mud. The real problem was the grass was so high that it was tough to where the trail was. We missed the turn at one spot and ended up on a different trail. Trail needs more traffic and/or a weed eater.

Review: This is my all time favorite trail system. The scenery is beautiful and the trails offer technical, rocky, elevation filled, flowy, singletrack. Definitely great for building skill and confidence and doesn't require so much ledge climbing abilities, of which I lack. My favorite downhill is Doglegg, for it's crazy rock garden section, challenging switch backs that make you want to see how much faster you can do it every time you go. My favorite quick route is Gorman Falls TH start to Tie Slide, Gorman Falls, Tinaja, Cedar Chopper, DogLegg, Lemons Ridge to Lively, Gorman Windmill Connector. Favorite challenge: Spicewood Canyon is technical and challenging in the rock garden downhill sections. Tinaja's challenge is mainly the elevation gain and steep ascents. Lemon's RIdge is best for intermediate beginners.

Review: Well worth the drive. Parked at Lemons Ridge Pass lot. Lemons ridge (good warm up) to cedar chopper to Tinaja trail (TT is outstanding, with great downhill sections that you have to earn with equal amounts of tough up hill stretches) to Old Gorman Road (uphill - this trail is a blast to bomb downhill) to Dogleg canyon (great trail with great views) to river trail and up lemons ridge pass to parking. 2ish hour loop. We also hit spicewood canyon trail, but was a little disappointed.

Review: Pretty flowy single track. Some rather sharp rocks in quite a few places. Mostly crushed shale trails. Pretty good XC system
