Mountain Biking Cleburne State Park

****   Add a review
#72 of 282 mountain bike trails in Texas
#2,633 in the world

The main trail is a loop that is about 5.5 miles long that basically follows the
outer boundary of the park. It can be ridden in either direction. There are other
trails within the loop that can be used to add mileage as well as creating outs to
get back to the park loop road. The riding here as a whole is intermediate but
there are several tough climbs that are technical and rocky which depending on
your direction can create some good downhill. Two thirds of the trail is rocky and
the rest is hardpack with roots. There are opportunities here for all riders. The
scenery is beautiful and uniquely Texas hill country. There are restrooms on site
and a map available. A Texas State Park pass is required or it cost $3 to enter
the park. Well worth the drive and price but call first because the trail is subject
to be closed due to rain. Park number is 817-645-4215
